classes popular with mums attracted to the franchise’s flexibility, including: Andrea, who says: “I looked at franchising because I was ready to come out of the corporate world. I had a two year old and was looking for something more flexible. I did consider setting up my own business. But I didn’t know a) as what and b) I didn’t actually know if I could and I think what I liked about franchising was that you had that support from head office and a product that had a track record. Zara, whose daughter participated in classes at her nursery, says: “she just absolutely loved it and would come home and talk about it. I could see her doing the moves at home. I love yoga, I’ve been
doing it myself for a long time … when I looked into Tatty Bumpkin further I just knew it was the right thing to do.” “I love running my own business because I like the flexibility of being able to decide what hours I work, which direction I take the business.”
Christina who loves “the fact that I can work my business around my family and that I can pick up my son from school and be with him in the holidays and my business is still running.
Helen, who says she enjoys: “the
freedom of being able to choose what I do and when I do it. I choose the classes I run and the groups I work with and the times of day so that I can be with my own children when I need to be.”
And Dai who concludes: “You do have to work hard…but the job is fun, exciting and fits around my family – I truly could not be happier.”
