Mott MacDonald is a management, engineering and development consultancy that works on exciting projects, making a huge difference, across the world. Put simply – we like to solve humanity’s most diffi cult challenges. Our global experts are equipped with a diverse range of skills including science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Opportunities
We offer advanced level apprenticeships in Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Business Administration and Transport Planning. We also offer degree level apprenticeships in Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Environmental Practitioner, Land Referencing, Rail Systems Engineering, Town Planning, Mechanical Engineering and Information Management Systems. All our apprenticeships include professionally recognised qualifi cations, access to further learning and development opportunities and professional body membership (where applicable). With time being split between working and studying our apprentices learn valuable skills and earn a salary straight away.
Career progression
An apprentice will spend their days discovering new and exciting things as well as meeting different people. As long as they have the right attitude, a bit of determination and a ton of enthusiasm, we teach the rest! After joining us, they attend an apprentice weekend – a two-day residential event full of fun and socialising with the aim of developing soft skills. Gaining a professionally recognised qualifi cation leads
apprentices to chartership within their chosen discipline. We ensure they have all the guidance they need to get there, with the support of a line manager, mentor and learning provider, as well as our dedicated learning and development team on hand. We will support advanced-level apprentices to move on to the degree-level apprenticeship and those who successfully pass our degree-level apprenticeship will be offered a permanent professional role within our business.
