A: When you’ve shortlisted your top three franchise opportunities, these are the questions I recommend you grill the franchisor with: • How have you done in the annual Smith & Henderson Franchisee Satisfaction Survey? Most reputable UK franchises enter because they want to learn and improve. Through the results, you should be able to see how the people who matter most rate the franchises you are considering


• Can I have the contact details of every UK franchise owner? The best way to evaluate a franchise is to speak to those who already own one, and you don’t want a list hand-picked by the franchisor


• Can I have the contact details of a couple of strugglers, a couple of average performers and a couple of stars? It’s important you get a balanced view and work out whether your own attitudinal
