Northamptonshire Education Awards
Bakery giant named as key education awards sponsor
One of the driving forces behind the success of the Milton Keynes Education Awards, French bakery brand Brioche Pasquier, has been announced as the Headline Sponsor for this year’s Northamptonshire Education Awards. T e fi rm, which has its UK headquarters in Milton Keynes,
will also sponsor the Maths Team or Teacher of the Year category at the awards, which are currently open for entries. T e winners will be announced at a ceremony at T e County Ground, home of Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, on Friday November 28, when the host will be former badminton Olympic medallist and world champion Gail Emms. T e awards celebrate schools and colleges, teams and individuals
across the whole of the education sector in a range of categories from Healthy School of the Year to the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award, Headteacher of the Year and the Unsung Hero Award. All categories are free to enter and there is no limit to the number of categories that can be entered. Ben T omas, Managing Director of All T ings Business, the
organisers of the awards, said: “We are delighted to have Brioche Pasquier on board. T ey have been amazing supporters of the Milton Keynes Education Awards, which were launched in 2023, and it is testament to how successful that has been, for us and for them, that they are keen to get involved in Northamptonshire too. “For a business, getting involved and sponsoring the education
awards is about recognising the eff orts that go into teaching the children in our schools and the young people in our colleges and giving them the skills they need to become the workforce of tomorrow. “Thank you to Brioche Pasquier, and we look forward to
celebrating with them and the Northamptonshire education sector in November.”
Ryan Peters, Managing Director of Brioche Pasquier UK,
said: “As a company, we are actively involved in supporting local charities, schools and events, and to making a positive impact on the community. T e education sector is extremely important to us, young people are the future bakers, engineers or sales team that we will need to continue producing and selling our products. “It is why we are proud to sponsor this event to celebrate the
achievements of all those involved in teaching and guiding the future generations.” Brioche Pasquier is happy to open its doors to schools, not only
to showcase what it does but also to give some meaningful advice on careers and future aspirations. Kerrie Driver from Milton Keynes Preparatory School took a
group of pupils on a visit to the Brioche Pasquier headquarters. Afterwards, she said: “We enjoyed a fantastic school visit, and the children are still buzzing from the experience. We took our Year 4 pupils for a session, which included a tour of the factory and production line, a history of the Brioche Pasquier family, and a tasting session! “It was such a valuable opportunity for the children, and I believe
it was equally benefi cial for Brioche Pasquier, with the tasting sessions and the children’s feedback.” Other category sponsors for the Northamptonshire Education
