We have dedicated areas for cyclists to store their bikes whilst visiting the campus and we have visitor, student and staff car parks for those commuting by car or motorbike.


By rail and bus


There are several railway stations within three miles of Birmingham Newman. If you are travelling from stations on the Nottingham to Cardiff route or the Birmingham to Hereford


route, we recommend taking a direct train to University station and then taking the X22 bus service. To access the X22 bus route, leave the train at University station and head for the Queen Elizabeth hospital (across the road and along a well-marked path), and choose the X22 bus stop marked ‘Towards Quinton, Weoley Castle’. If you are travelling from other stations, we recommend changing at Birmingham New Street for Kings Norton station and taking the 18-bus service from directly outside the station.


Alternatively, Birmingham Newman is about 10 minutes by taxi from either University or Kings Norton stations.
