Staff in the Student Support Service can help coordinate reasonable adjustments for students in many aspects of their student experience.
Getting to Birmingham Newman is simple. We are well serviced by public transport, with 91% of our students commuting on a daily basis. More than 20% of our full-time students have declared a disability, long-term health condition or Specific Learning Difference, such as dyslexia. Many rooms are fitted with adjustable height tables, as well as hearing loops. There are lifts located around the campus, and accessible toilet facilities are available. We have a dedicated Disability and Inclusion team within Student Support Services who can help connect you to support both within the University and with our external partners.
