Women in Print: 150 years of Liberty Textiles

William Morris Gallery presents Women in Print: 150 Years of Liberty Textiles. Conceived in partnership with Liberty Fabrics for the design house’s 150th anniversary, this major exhibition highlights the pivotal role and contributions of women textile designers. Women in Print brings together iconic patterns by designers such as Althea McNish, Susan Collier, Sarah Campbell, and Lucienne Day, alongside previously overlooked names, celebrating how women have been, and continue to be, at the heart of Liberty’s creative innovations.

The Biba Story: 1964–1975
Dovecot Studios, Edinburgh: now until Saturday 27th June 2026
This exhibition at the intimate Dovecot Studios in Edinburgh, explores how fashion
phenomenon Biba blossomed during the 1960’s and 70’s, to become the world’s first lifestyle label, sparking a revolution in how people shopped. Under its legendary founder Barbara Hulanicki, it was a phenomenon that has never been replicated. It remains influential to this day and interest in this cult fashion and lifestyle label has never waned.

Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art
V&A, London: now until Sunday 8th Nov 2026
Just opened at the V&A in London, this is the first exhibition ever staged in the UK devoted to Elsa Schiaparelli. Spanning the 1920’s to the present day, Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art charts the history and impact of one of the 20th century’s most innovative fashion designers. The show will trace the origins of the house, from its first, paradigm shifting garments, through to its present- day incarnation in the hands of its creative director, Daniel Roseberry.

MoMu, Antwerp: now until 17th January 2027
The first major exhibition dedicated to the six fashion designers responsible for putting Antwerp on the fashion map. Dirk Bikkembergs, Ann Demeulemeester, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dries Van Noten, Dirk Van Saene and Marina Yee, all studied together at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
