Among the attendees is milliner Lee-Anne Freeman, whose work has become a familiar presence during the festival. She creates cloches specifically for the occasion,

drawing inspiration from the silhouettes and detailing of the early 20th century. Her approach often incorporates upcycling, giving

new life to older materials. This year, for herself, she created a cloche from a cream wool felt by reshaping it and adding cream felt leaves and navy gimp trim.

The Art Deco

Napier Festival offers an opportunity to step into a living history experience.

It is a celebration of architectural beauty and vintage style,

set within one of the most iconic Art Deco landscapes in the world.
