PATTERN REVIEW
In this new series for HATalk we put a range of cut and sew hat patterns to the test to see if they’re worth the paper they’re printed on.
THIS MONTH
The bucket hat by Merchant & Mills
REVIEWED BY Our editor Mary Jane Baxter
Readers may have heard of Merchant & Mills, a UK based sewing company that was founded in 2010 by Carolyn Denham and Roderick Field to bring high quality tools, beautiful fabrics and timeless design to the home sewing industry. I’ve long been a fan of their sewing patterns, which to my mind, have a feel of TOAST (a British fashion brand) about them. You might call their patterns classics with a twist.
