WOLFFKRAN FS 902/7 Tower crane manufacturer Wolffkran says it will have a total of five cranes at Bauma. Leading the line-up is the

Wolff 8095 Compact: the first Wolff trolley jib crane in the 900 mt class. The Wolff 8095 Compact is available in two variants: The two-fall model Wolff 8095.25, with a maximum lifting capacity of 25 tonnes and a tip load capacity of 10.5 tonnes (with Wolff Boost at an 80-metre jib length), and the

convertible two- and four- fall model Wolff 8095.40, with a double, automatically couplable, and separable, double trolley and a maximum lifting capacity of 40 tonnes. The crane’s 30-metre jib

will extend over the booth’s rooftop terrace, allowing visitors to inspect the new trolley up close. Also on display will be the

Wolff 8038 Clear – a new 560 tonne/metre class flat top tower crane, and the largest flat-top crane in the portfolio to date. The crane has a patented smart boom design, in which the upper chord can be installed with a plug-in connection without the need for a hammer; the boom’s smooth transitions facilitate the fine positioning of the load, says Wolffkran. The company has also

revised the lower chord design and optimised it with local reinforcements. This saves around ten percent on materials, which is reflected in the price, and reduces assembly weight by 20 percent, says Wolffkran. "Large cranes are in demand," says Mohamed Abouelezz, head of business development and product management at Wolffkran. "We are seeing a global

trend toward building with prefabricated components and prefabricated modules. At the same time, customers are paying more attention

than ever to uncomplicated assembly. The Wolff 8038 Clear combines the performance of a tower-top crane with the assembly advantages of a topless design." As a pure two-fall crane,

the Wolff 8038 Clear can be ordered with either a 75 kW or a 110 kW hoist winch, enabling working speeds of up to 132 m/min or 190 m/min, respectively. A US version with a 110 kW hoist winch is also available. Wolfkran will also show the

Wolff 7021 Clear – which it describes as ‘a flat-top powerhouse in the 224 mt class’. Among other exhibits on

display will be the chaRope fibre rope, and assistance technologies such as Wolff HiSPS and Wolff Assist. Wolff Onsite will be at the stand with their accessories and equipment, plus Wolffkran Finance will be represented on our stand for the second time.
