LOCATELLI CRANE FS1101/10 Headquartered in Mapello, Lombardy, in Northern Italy, Locatelli will showcase its mobile telescopic hydraulic cranes. It has particular expertise in the development and manufacturer of mobile rough terrain cranes.

MANITOWOC FS.1202 US manufacturer Manitowoc will display 12 cranes over

3,300 m2 across three stands (FS1202, FS1202/2, FS1201) in its usual spot in the South/ East open-air area at Bauma. The company will


introduce new products and technologies for its Grove and Potain brands and focus heavily on its range of value-added customer support services.


A highlight will be the


launch of its first ever plug-in hybrid all-terrain cranes: the Grove GMK5150L-1e and GMK5150XLe. For more on these cranes see the feature, and exclusive interview with Florian Peters starting p34. New rope cleaning and boom lubrication systems for Grove cranes will also be shown. From Potain, the new MR 309 luffing jib tower crane will make its international trade show debut. This model, launched in mid-2024 alongside its sister model, the MR 329, is part of Potain’s newest generation of luffing jib cranes. The ProTechtor control for


tower cranes will be unveiled at the show. This allows technicians to assume control of a crane while working on it to prevent accidental movements and allow faster repairs.

Bauma: the Trio 0e. It is powered by two


rechargable LifePO Lithium batteries The crane measures 6.1m long, 2m wide, and 2.9m high. The crane has a hydro-pneumatic suspension system and permanent 4x4 traction for enhanced stability and manoeuvrability. It has a maximum speed of 40km/h Three steering modes are available (road, concentric and crab). The crane also has a pick and carry mode which allows movement at speeds up to 5 km/h.


The crane has a lifting


capacity of 15 tonnes and a total weight of 14 tonnes. The five-section telescopic boom extends from 5.2 to 19.1m. It can reaching a maximum height of 21m.
