JASO TOWER CRANES FS.1003/8 Spanish tower crane manufacturer Jaso is celebrating its 50th anniversary at Bauma. To mark the occasion it will unveil a new flat-top tower crane: the J165.8.

The crane has: a maximum load of 8 tonnes; a tip load of 1.92 tonnes; boom lengths
between 30 and 60 metres, which can be extended in five-metre increments; a short counter-jib (of 12.9 metres); flat counterweights; a freestanding height of 53.10 metres with a 1.75-metre tower system; a maximum hoisting speed of 177 m/min (45 kW); and a low carbon footprint (the ECO-Mode has a low consumption of 31 KVA). Jaso says the crane has been optimised for intelligent transport and assembly, thanks to Jaso technologies such as micro speed, progressive rotation, and Smartlink. Along with the crane Jaso
will unveil its new ‘Horizon’ cabin which, it says, aims to optimise operator comfort and visibility, plus a renewed rack and pinion systems portfolio
including personnel and material elevators, transport and work platforms, hoists, and tower crane elevators.
