365 Days: Confusion and Clutter, a surrealist poem written collaboratively by English Composition 101-103, Spring 2024 (Dorian Boissiere, Mason Butters, Shandra Craig, Sarah Creecy, Jaden Cyres-Cordova, Yariela Escobar, Alexis Fremen, Diamond Gibson, Albert Gordon, William Kibbe, Miracle Matthews, Ashley Montecino, Kelly Obando, Joshua Stein, Grace Teissier, & Kourtney Williams)
Some can have it all when the stars align. As soon as I wake up, you wake up in the morning. Because I will try harder, there are good days and there are bad days. After the garden is gone, never allow a mistake to become a reason not to keep trying. Everyone in my family always goes to midnight mass for Christmas before I get home. Your friends will be there even though it’s over. Each of us sat in our assigned seats in English class, if only we were animals. Every time a lone wolf howls, that is a lovely shirt you’re wearing. While washing your toes, I am going to be by my friend’s house. Until tomorrow, until we meet again, tend to be loving and annoying. Since the clouds began to pour, my favorite season is summer. In the event that the sun stops to shine, no one knows me better than myself. All of the above is not always the right answer, as if I care.

Refill all coffee machines with their respective beans --for the grinder medium Milano and espresso Roma for the espresso machine; make black tea using the one with the purple bag; turn on all lights in the store; say good morning or good evening (it’s for them, not for you) in a proper way using Mr. or Mrs. –a customer could be a new friend, right?; meanwhile, add two shots of espresso to the steamed milk –by the way, skim milk– and a donut, and please lavender, matcha, and chocolate for the flavors; don’t forget to warm the donut (in this job, success is failure turned inside out); wait until customers are ready, even if they are on the phone, to order; take next three orders while you’re on the current request, make sure to do it; if the stereo turns off, make sure to restart the audio system –too much noise here, like the only phrase Robert says to me every day when he sees me; this is how you do the dishes; make sure to sanitize the sink after, and don’t forget to check if it’s clean; don’t answer the phone when serving or making any item for a customer; answer the phone if your manager is calling you; treat your workmates kindly and with respect –we work side by side, yet in our own worlds, we’re all alone, aren’t we?; use floor cleaner and bleach for mopping and you have to do it this way; in the left and right pockets of your apron always keep paper towels, a simple detail, but it saves time when moments get busy; wash the silverware, dishes, and food baskets and make sure all tables are clean –the smile, like the espresso machine, always ready, always the same; as you do that, refill the cups, straws, flavors, paper towels, napkins and spoons; empty the trash cans and mop the entire store (do it when you have your shift breakdown); dress in black all the time (since black is a fancy color and hides everything) and wear an apron with
