rush out of Becky’s room again and lock it. Ben yelled “Allison! Are you okay?” Allison had no response. Ben walked into Allison’s room and saw her pale body with baggy eyes. “OMG! ALLISON!” Ben ran her into the shower and got her dressed and fed to help her feel better. Allison said, “It’s just the flu, I’m okay.” But Ben wasn’t buying it. Ben left for the night and decided to come back the next morning.

Knock Knock Knock...

“Hello? Is anyone there? Allison?”. Ben goes around the back door where he knows the spare key is hidden. He walked through the back door into Allison’s room. He saw Allison unconscious and began to panic. “What do I do?” He repeated over and over. Finally, Ben decided to call 911 and when they got there he rode in the ambulance to the hospital with Allison.

Four hours later Allison’s eyes began to creep open letting the light in...” Good morning Ms.

Allison we’re happy to see that you’re awake,” said the doctor. Allison looked around at Ben and Katie, very confused. She remembered seeing the doctor from somewhere but couldn’t pin it. “It’s okay, everything’s going to be okay I promise”, Ben said. Allison looks back at the doctor “What’s going on?”.

Te doctor begins to tell Allison that she has a fatal tumor. Allison breaks down into tears and begins to ask for Becky. Ben and the doctor both go silent looking at each other. “I’m sorry Allison but I was Becky’s doctor five years ago in this hospital and she died, the tumor is what’s causing you to still see her, I’m

so sorry”. Allison had goosebumps and her whole body went numb, she couldn’t breathe or think, and mostly couldn’t accept and wrap her head around that Becky had been gone for so long. I must’ve used it as a coping mechanism, she thought. Te doctor looked at her with a long pause...” I’m sorry, but with a tumor this progressed we need to take action soon. Would you like to take the Tumor out Ms.

Allison?”. Allison looked at Ben then at the doctor, then back at Ben, and paused. “Yes, I want the tumor taken out,” she said.

Allison got the tumor taken out and was in recovery for about a month. Ben stood by her side

through everything and brought her home when she was ready. Allison got home laid down and thought about how she wanted to rock in her grandmother’s reclining chair one more time now that she knew she was gone and put up her things for good. Allison got up and went over to Becky’s room with a handful of boxes. When she walked in, she looked up and there was Becky in her reclining chair looking at Allison.

“Hello my dear,” Becky said.
