are more than eight million children under 18 years old who live with an addict. Tat’s one in ten children. Tey wake up and go to sleep every day dreading that phone call that their loved one is dead. Tey live every day working through years of trauma that they have endured. If they think the way I used to, they blame themselves for not being enough to stop the vicious cycle their parents are stuck in. But at the end of the day, they are not supposed to act as the parent.
When you have a child, everything you do should be to protect them…your life is their life now. Being a parent is a commitment. You are not affected by a sickness. You choose to put that needle in your arm. You choose to put that pill in your mouth. I speak for every child of addicts when I say take accountability for your actions so that your children don’t have to.
Life’s Purpose, Death, and Afterlife by Alicexandra MonConduit

Our purpose here is to overcome the trials and temptations which provoke our faith, character, intentions, and actions; and prompt us to make choices. I suppose life is to fulfill our purpose of evolving, death is the end of our journey in this life, and afterlife is either repeating the cycle or transitioning .
In my little world I believe in reincarnation. I like to imagine my soul came here with a purpose. Everything in my life has a reason, and nothing is by coincidence. I feel as though our days here are to learn and grow, in order to evolve into a higher being and pass into the next life. I grew up around religious people who had strong beliefs. It was not until I was about eighteen that I began to think of the bible as a metaphor. At this time, I began asking questions and seeking answers about the origins of the bible and religion. I attended church occasionally, but I would take heed of the sermon, then go and read the scriptures on my own at home. So, I could make my
