Everything about you screamed red flag, be aware, Yet I went along like the caution signs weren’t there. I got on this ride eagerly, not knowing we would crash and burn, Silly of me to expect you to cherish something you didn’t earn. I can’t believe I fell for this whole love bomb charade, Your sudden change left me shattered and feeling betrayed. Now I’m wishing Cupid’s arrow had missed its mark, Ten, I would have avoided being broken from the start. You sold me beautiful lies over and over again, I was blinded by your fraudulent love, so I believed them. I wish I wasn’t addicted to you; my sleepless nights are taking a toll I’m left searching far and wide for a needle and thread to mend this hole. Keeping busy during the day, these thoughts just won’t fade, One comes after another, it’s so hard to digest that I’ve been played. I’m drowning in waves of darkness saturated with shame, Nothing but a broken heart left and no-one but myself to blame.
