night all she could think about was each memory we had in the reclining chair and how sentimental it was to her.
Allison decided a car could be delayed a little while longer and that she wanted to get her grandma a new reclining chair. Allison brought Katie since she was the best shopper she knew. Looking in the third store Allison spotted the same chair that had broken and said “Tat’s it! Tat’s the one!”. She brought home the chair that day with the help of Katie and a kind young boy named Ben. When she walked through the door Becky immediately noticed what Allison had and broke down to tears. “THANK YOU, ALLISON! OH, MY GOODNESS! HOW DID YOU DO THIS? THANK YOU!”. Allison smiled and knew it wasn’t even close to a payment of what her grandmother does for her but was delighted she got to make her happy. Senior year was finally approaching for Allison, and she was the happiest she could be. Summer has always been her favorite time of the year, and she loved being outdoors. On a Saturday when she
was at the farmers market, she ran into a cute brown-haired boy who she recognized. “Oh, hey Ben!” Allison said. Ben looked over and walked up to say hello “Long time no see, how have you been?”.
Allison blushed and went blank only being able to say “good”. Ben laughed and asked if she wanted to go and grab lunch. As he was pulling into the parking spot Allison screamed “OMG! Tis is my favorite place ever!”. Ben smiled as if he did good picking out the place for their lunch date and scoring him some points. Later that evening Ben dropped Allison off

to her house and ended the day with a kiss on her forehead. Allison walked inside and looked at Becky and screamed “THE FOREHEAD? THE FOREHEAD? AM I HIS LITTLE SISTER?”. Becky, looking confused, asked Allison what was going on. She explained the date went well but was confused as to why Ben didn’t kiss her on the lips. Becky told her she needed to have patience and that not everyone is comfortable kissing on these lips the first time or could be doing it out of respect. Allison felt better after talking to Becky knowing she could always reassure her with the right answers.
Allison and Ben ended up spending the rest of the Summer together into their Senior year. She was the happiest she had ever been in her whole life. Ben took her on dates to the movies, beach, restaurants, family houses, and walks in the park. One day when Ben came over, he noticed that Allison was in Becky’s room and abruptly got up and ran out as if she was hiding something. Ben asked, “Are you okay? You look like you just saw a ghost”. Allison laughed as if Ben was crazy and said she was just spooked by Ben. Tey left Allison’s house and headed to the beach for a getaway weekend. Allison had a headache the entire ride there and then began to vomit. Tey began to worry she was pregnant, so they quickly got her a test. After Allison took five tests, they were all negative and she felt confused. Ben asked, “Are you sure you don’t just have the flu?” Allison trusted Ben so she figured it probably was just the flu. Ben decided to take Allison back home and told her to call him when she felt better.
Tree days went by and Ben didn’t get a call from Allison, so he decided to go over to her house. When he got there, he saw her
