Connectedness between the indoor and outdoor During Phase 2 of the project development, TNB’s
confirmation for the design and spaces was delayed, which subsequently
affected the structural and architectural
works. The cable laying works to the nearest PPU, which was about 4 kilometres away, was done within a tight timeline and this almost caused a delay. However, the contractors managed to expedite the process and complete the utility system construction in time.
WATER SUPPLY To establish the water supply for the development, a new plumbing system had to be installed to connect to the nearest reservoir, which is around 5 kilometres from the site. Just like the electric utility, the development plan and schematic drawings of the water service installation had to be submitted at the planning stage. The developer called for the tender themselves to lay the 600-milimetre pipes to the nearest reservoir, which involves open cut and horizontal directional drilling (HDD) works.
