SUSTAINABILITY The project was developed to achieve economic, social and environmental outcomes, which are aligned with the vision of URA and Building and Construction Authority (BCA). To achieve the design intent that emphasises on social connectivity, the provision of public spaces was generous at over 100,000 square feet to connect the mall, residential towers and office towers. These interconnected, open, sheltered spaces are integrated with lush greenery for rest and play. Three rain gardens, besides adding to the attractiveness of the precinct, also serve a practical function to regulate water run-off during heavy rains.


DIGITAL TWIN SYSTEM The development project was delivered by using Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) throughout the life cycle of the building— from the building design to its construction and facilities management. In the operations, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are deployed to ensure that equipment can function at their optimal conditions. The technology platform connects all building systems and equipment across the commercial towers, retail mall and precinct infrastructure, including air-conditioning and mechanical


ventilations;


electrical and plumbing systems; fire safety; car parks; CCTVs; lifts; access controls; and people flow. These systems are integrated with the 3D BIM models to create a digital twin of each building and the precinct. The digital twin is a working digital replica of each building’s physical spaces, equipment, systems and infrastructure processes (the physical twin) and serves as an intelligent interface to the physical twin for smart operations and maintenance.
