More businesses are committing to SD in various ways to achieve SD goals as well. For Swire Properties, in addition to working towards our SD vision and targets set in the SD 2030 Strategy, we have also recently committed to the Business

Ambition for 1.5°C campaign—the first real estate developer in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland to do so—to play our part in helping limit global warming to 1.5°C and pave the way to reach net- zero emissions by 2050.


Green projects and financing have become increasingly important for us to meet this net-zero goal. We anticipate more businesses will commit to Green projects and Green financing will develop with more products and features. As such, we look forward to expanding our SD efforts in these areas and contributing to a Greener and better future.
