A fantastic time was had by all.


Yvonne (Taylor) Reichenbach, Amy (Rowland) Nichols, and Tracy (Terrell) Williamson spent a few days exploring the northwest U.S. together in June 2022, by visiting the Potato Museum in Idaho as well as Jackson Hole, the Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone in Wyoming. Cherie (Thompson) Walsh joined them later in Montana at Amy Nichols’ Monarch Meadows ranch where the new “Monarch Meadows” beverage was created, and they witnessed the overwhelming majesty of “big sky” sunrises and sunsets.


Laura Hair Owens ’90 hosted a Queens Ladies Weekend at Ocean Isle Beach in August 2021. It was the “Happy Everything” weekend celebrating all the milestones missed during the pandemic. 1991 Stephanie Smith Rainey looks forward to spending more time in Charlotte. Her daughter, Ruth Parker Bauknight, moved to Charlotte and works for Acquisitions, Ltd. in South End. Her son, Tres Bauknight, is a freshman at the University of Alabama. She and her husband spend as much time as possible at their cottage in Flat Rock, North Carolina.


Kimberley McCarty Love ’91 is getting ready to celebrate 10 years of owning and operating two child care centers: Bright Life Playschool Inc. on the central coast of California. She also just celebrated 25 years of marriage to Nathan Love. Her children ( above from left to right) are Nolan (23), Colby (19), and Samantha (13). She misses her awesome Queens friends and professors!


The class expresses sympathy to Jane Bott Childrey on the death of her husband Wycliffe last April. They were married for 26 years and have three beautiful children together, along with Wycliffe’s daughter Kate Childrey Webster, who is also a Queens alum. Kate moved with her husband to Nashville, Tennessee this past May and loves the area; their daughter Lily moved to New York City this summer to work for Goldman Sachs, Lexi is a sophomore at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Ian is a junior at The Pennington School in New Jersey.

Angela (Rushton) Carruth has been promoted to chief counsel of litigation for the aeronautics division of Lockheed Martin Corporation. In this role, she leads a team of 10 attorneys and paralegals who are responsible for managing all lawsuits filed against the aeronautics division domestically and internationally. Angela continues to spend much of her “spare time” on the soccer field cheering on her two younger children, Jack (13) and MK (15), while also chasing after her grandson, Ezra, who will turn 2 in October.


1993 Chi Omega sisters Jennifer (Lawrence) Grennan, Erin (Norton) Bates, Kathryn (Winsman) Black, Debbie (Gavin) Woodard, Kyra Valadie, Leigh Williams and Sasha (Milner) Harbrecht celebrate over 30 years of friendship in the Texas Hill Country this fall.
