QUEENS RANKS HIGH IN GIVING
Since 1983, U.S. News and World Report has published its rankings and advice about colleges and universities across the country. This information not only helps families make the difficult decision of choosing an institution to attend, but it also instills pride to those students and alumni who see their alma maters rise to the top. Several factors go into these rankings, with significant weighting on graduation rates and peer assessment scores. Other factors include class size, faculty resources, admissions criteria, financial resources and alumni giving. Queens continues to climb in a variety of categories, as the university was ranked
13th overall, eighth in undergraduate teaching and third in alumni giving among the 133 colleges and universities in the Regional Universities South category. More impressive is the fact that Queens ranked fourth among more than 600 regional universities across the country. How did Queens achieve this notable
rank? Through alumni like YOU who make an annual gift to support student success. Every gift, no matter the size, counts toward participation. Please consider making a gift if you have yet to do so and help us get to the number one spot!
