KJ Price Morgan was furloughed for four weeks from her corporate job in the hospitality industry as a result of COVID-19. In that time during quarantine, she created videos to share home-cooked recipes, organization ideas, home furnishing tips and gardening projects as “Te Southern Homebody” on social media. Her posted videos were shared on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube and have been an overwhelming success. It has been a great way to connect positively with people from all over the country in an otherwise very stressful and unknown time. It has also been special to share a little piece of herself with others, and especially with her kids, Maggie (24), Ben (21) and Joshua (16). Tey will have videos of KJ sharing family recipes and “how to” projects long after she is gone and will hopefully share them with their friends and families, too! Now that KJ is back at work full time, the posts have continued and even more projects have popped up! Te dream would be able to do “Te Southern Homebody” full time, travel with her husband and share all the things she loves along the way!
