Charlotte Symphony Orchestra


As a liberal arts institution, we are commited to celebrating creativity in all its forms. Through our partnership with the Charlote Symphony, Queens students and faculty paired original poetry with Romantic and early 20th-century masterworks to explore the theme of love. Open to both the campus and community, this tradition brings music and writing together in the spotlight.


The 24 Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by cancer by investing in local organizations and services, including Queens. Their longstanding scholarship supports a Royal who has been personally impacted by cancer, offering critical financial and emotional relief. The foundation also partners with Queens for their annual “24 Hours of Booty” ride, utilizing both campus space and the Myers Park neighborhood to bring the community together with the ultimate goal of changing the course of cancer. Now in its 24th year, the 24 Foundation has raised over $29 million for its beneficiaries. Alongside its endowed scholarship, event proceeds continue to support annual scholarships at Queens.
