Athletics


As the only private NCAA Division I institution in the Charlotte area, Queens has become a premier home for collegiate athletics. This year, we officially completed our transition to Division I, unlocking new opportunities for NCAA revenue, tournament eligibility, and national recognition.


Student-athletes not only have a significant presence on campus, but they continue to set the bar academically, earning a slightly higher average GPA than their peers. Our Royals don’t stop there, though; their commitment to living our motto, “Not to be served, but to serve,” is evident through the Helper Helper program, providing team-wide opportunities for service and celebrating the impact an individual student-athlete can have on our community.
