programme for Chinese travellers Marriott Rewards has unveiled new benefits for its Li Yu hospitality programme, designed specifically for Chinese travellers. The service provides a suite of Chinese- language services at 41 participating Marriott properties. Li Yu now enables guests to contact a concierge service assistant in Chinese via mobile app WeChat. Additional conveniences include Mandarin-speaking hotel associates, Chinese-language hotel and destination guides, TV and newspapers from China, along with local phone cards and power adapters. Chinese travellers who sign up with Marriott Rewards will also receive additional benefits including exclusive member rates and free wifi.

Qantas partners with Airbnb
Qantas has announced it will be collaborating with online accommodation marketplace Airbnb to offer Qantas Frequent Flyer members the ability to earn Qantas Points.
Loyalty members will receive one Qantas Point for every A$1 (US$0.8) they spend on accommodation when they book Airbnb lodgings through the airline’s website, giving members the ability to earn points on a selection of about 2.5 million listed accommodation options across 191 countries.

Carlson Rezidor partners with Philippine Airlines
Members of Club Carlson and Mabuhay Miles – the reward programmes for Carlson Rezidor and Philippine Airlines, respectively – can now earn Mabuhay Miles when staying at any of Carlson Rezidor’s 1,400 properties. Mabuhay Miles members earn 500 miles when staying at hotels under the Quorvus Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red and Park Plaza, and 250 miles when staying at properties under the Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites by Carlson brands. Club Carlson members will also be able to convert points at a rate of ten Gold Points per Mabuhay Mile.
Mabuhay Miles members can also earn double miles on eligible stays at any of the group’s properties worldwide until December 31.
