Rohit Sharma became the first man to hit four T20I centuries with 111 not out for India against the West Indies in Lucknow.
India won their 10th consecutive home Test series, beating the West Indies 2-0.
New Zealand’s 2-1 series win in the UAE was their first away Test series win against Pakistan since 1969.
In the third Test of the series, Pakistan’s Yasir Shah became the fastest bowler to 200 Test wickets. He achieved it in 33 Tests, three quicker than the record set by Clarrie Grimmett of Australia 82 years previously. New Zealand’s four-run victory in the first match was the fifth narrowest in Test history.
Australia were crowned ICC Women’s World T20 champions for the fourth time, beating England by eight wickets in the final in Antigua.
England achieved a 3-0 Test series win in Sri Lanka, their first clean sweep in Sri Lanka and their first overseas since 1963.
Sri Lanka’s Rangana Herath announced his retirement after the first Test against England, his 433 wickets the most by a left-arm spinner in Test history.
At 17 years, 355 days, Nayeem Hasan of Bangladesh became the third youngest bowler in Test history to take five wickets in an innings when he took five for 61 against the West Indies in Chattogram.
