SHORTLIST RED ROSE AWARDS
MEET THE RED ROSE AWARDS FINALISTS
As the countdown to the Red Rose Awards nears its dramatic finish, we’d like to give you a chance to learn about some of the finalists in more detail.
Red Rose Awards was created by Lancashire Business View to shine a spotlight on the achievements of businesses in the county.
We want you to be amazed, uplifted and inspired by all that’s going on in the county.
Over the following pages, we’ve invited finalists to tell you their stories in their own words.
You’ll read about great businesses that are shining lights in their own communities, you’ll hear from giants whose impact can be felt across multiple continents, and there are the charities that exist solely to help those that nobody else is helping.
These organisations hail from all different corners of the county, they represent a multitude of sectors. But what they all have in common is they’ve excelled over the last 12 months.
And that’s been no easy thing. One year ago, we thought the Covid-19 pandemic was behind us and the
future was looking rosy. But 2022 brought us war in Europe, interest and inflation surges, energy and domestic price rises, three Prime Ministers and a disastrous Budget.
Against that backdrop, this year’s Red Rose Awards finalists have succeeded through hard work, innovation and resilience. New markets have been broken, new methods employed, new products and services launched and new and better ways of working with colleagues and customers have been engaged.
To earn their places in the final shortlists, nominees faced three stages of judging, the last of which involved presenting their cases to expert panels and tackling their questions.
These businesses are among the best of the best. We hope they, and all our Red Rose Awards finalists, offer the reminder that everything you need to start, manage and grow a business is available to you here in the county, and that they encourage others to target excellence, growth and new markets.
Or, as one of our mantras has it: “If you can buy it in Lancashire, buy it in Lancashire. If you can sell it in Lancashire, sell it round the world.”
Good luck to all the finalists.
