Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zones have secured the support of three new corporate backers. Billington-based ACG Renewables, and Elgra Furniture and Sales Geek, both of Blackburn, have each signed on as bronze patrons.

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has taken a significant step forward in its commitment to sustainability by choosing Preston-based Coggin Sustainable Office Solutions as its main supplier for used refurbished office furniture, office furniture refurbishment and zero-landfill office clearance. It is hoped the collaboration will not only help the institution reduce its carbon footprint but also set a precedent for other organisations in the industry to follow suit.
Viva took home two awards from the PRCA DARE Awards North West. The Rawtenstall- based PR agency won the top prize in the Public Sector category for a second consecutive year, with its Check Before You Chuck recycling campaign for Rossendale Borough Council coming out on top. The Walk In My Shoes student recruitment campaign for Burnley College University Courses won the Integrated Campaign of the Year Award. Viva also won Highly Commended in the Medium Consultancy of the Year category.
My sector and specialities Code Galaxy is one of Lancashire’s leading tech companies. We create bespoke software solutions when there is a gap in the market. Our team of experts has decades of coding knowledge and experience.
My biggest achievement so far I recently graduated from the University of Oxford and Aston University with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small business programme. Being able to learn, develop and work on the business – whilst running a business and preparing to launch two new SaaS products – has not only been a massive challenge but my greatest achievement so far.
My ambitions for the future We are an ambitious bunch, but if I was to summarise I would say to become the market leader nationally for software development and to successfully launch our SaaS products across the UK, and then expand to a global

market. We also love to give back to the Lancashire community; we focus heavily on our CSR and our impact. Our ambition is to grow the team so that we can do more of this.
Who I’m looking to do business with We work with many businesses across the UK, in various sectors. We love to work with well established, high growth businesses that need bespoke software solutions to excel further. At Code Galaxy, we have built our own software products, Warehouse Management Software and Event Management software.
How LBV Hub helps One of our favourite parts of being a member is the fact we can share our insights and successes on the LBV Hub website. Stirk House Hotel in Gisburn is set to be transformed with the introduction of a new two-storey spa, brasserie and walled garden. Planning permission has been submitted for the extension to the country hotel which has 30 bedrooms and is a popular venue for weddings.
Roadshow Promotions, the Blackpool-based vehicle promotions company, has announced the launch of a sister company, Roadshow Security. The new company will provide a range of security solutions to clients, including event security, retail security and people protection.
