Castle supplies an extensive range of industrial packaging products, including branded and presentation packaging, tapes and adhesives and protective packaging. It also offers services including warehousing, inventory management and audits to help streamline customer packaging operations.

JLC Groundworks, Preston JLC Groundworks, established in 1994, is a civil engineering and groundworks specialist. The company works with main contractors, private developers and local authorities, typically as the principal contractor, and has undertaken projects on behalf of F Parkinsons, Kensington Developments and Kingswood Homes. A full year of trading following a year disrupted by Covid-19 restrictions saw revenues climb from £9.8m to £12m.

Amari is a business born out of a family’s interest in collecting prestige cars, which lead to the launch of a retail operation. In the 40 years since, the company has bought and sold the world’s most exclusive marques, such as Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche and Range Rover. The company owns its stock, rather than the usual retail model of sale or return and is self-financed. Amari operates a 15,000 sq ft showroom which holds around 70 vehicles. A buoyant market saw revenues jump from £16.9m to £40.3m.

The Steel Dynamics Group was created in 2021 as the parent company of Offshore Stainless Steel and Steel Dynamics. The former, based in Brownhills in the Midlands, was founded in 1989 is a manufacturer and stockholder of cold-drawn stainless steel and nickel alloy bars as well as being the world’s largest stockholder of 1.4003 sheet and plate. The latter is the largest stainless steel plate processor in the UK, serving markets including oil and gas, nuclear, food processing and petrochemical. The turnover of £19.6m represents the first six months of trading.
North West Roofing Supplies sells thousands of roofing items including tiles, slates, roof windows and PVCu products through six depots in the North West and North Wales. Turnover, up 23 per cent to £32.2m, includes the first full year of trading of its new branch in Deeside, but doesn’t yet factor in contributions from B&M Henderson, which was acquired on the last day of the trading year.
