What I’ve achieved Joining CG Professional in 2020, stepping up to the role of partner and managing a team successfully has been a huge achievement for me, one which I have relished and thoroughly enjoyed.
I’m now looking forward to growing the team further and looking at new areas in which CG can service our clients in the people space.
Why I love Chorley
Working in Lancashire was new to me when I joined CG but I must say I love it.
I’ve found it really refreshing and thoroughly enjoyed doing business in a close-knit and friendly region with strong local connections as opposed to my previous experience in the Manchester market which was more akin to a mini London.
Who we are
Founded as a family business back in 1989, Chorley Group has grown into an award-winning organisation operating internationally with 12 key locations and 16 franchises primarily in Lancashire.
We are active participants in our communities, contributing to numerous local initiatives and charities.
What I’ve achieved
Securing my first director role within a forward-thinking family-owned business has been my best achievement.
My role is integral to the current and future 10-year growth plans of the business with stage one, growth by acquisition, well on the way to completion and the exciting second stage of, growth by maximising franchise representation, underway.

We have over 40 years’ experience providing workspace, asset and property management and creating development opportunities for our investment portfolio, including industrial, offices and retail.
Based in Chorley at the historic Botany Bay, we manage more than 15m sq ft of commercial and industrial real estate, working closely with tenants, communities and partners to ensure a cohesive approach is taken to all developments
What we’ve achieved
We are currently undertaking a major redevelopment of Botany Bay to create over 905,000 sq ft of industrial and office space.
The 405,000 sq ft business park is currently in construction with first units expected at the end of 2023.
This will provide a substantial boost to the local economy and signifies a new era for FIREM with our new office in the historic mill on site.

The world of accountancy and taxation is constantly evolving with the introduction of digitalised systems.
We have harnessed those systems to add value to services offered to clients, at the same time ensuring that we still offer a personal service.
