Adding the functionality of WEB ready to WinCan Embedded allows connection to WinCan WEB with remote upload from any location with internet access, thereby eliminating this manual delivery aspect and offering a full and simple integrated process. Currently ScanProbe is the 1st manufacturer to offer WEB Ready hardware with others actively developing the upload capability. With the explosion of cloud usage WinCan fully supports this as a key feature going forward.
WEBMAP
Furthermore, WinCan has now added visualisation of associated pipeline networks to the WinCan WEB capability with WEBMAP. This visualisation allows users to instantly associate geographical location of pipe, observation and grading data in a map via the cloud. Data is layered so users can add or remove visualisations as required. With the addition of WEBMAP Win Cans vision of finalised data delivery via the cloud is complete.
Simple online analysis is now possible cross platform and device without the limitation of a locally installed copy of WinCan VX and more importantly locally available data. Data can be accessed cross-business instantly spreading the view of asset information and condition.
Cloud based survey information has been available for some time with WinCan WEB but now geographical orientation can also be delivered from the survey location to the client desktop or indeed mobile device instantly.
Utilising the functionality of WinCan VX and MAP pre-population of existing GIS pipeline network data (via - Infonet, ESRI Arc products, MapInfo) or creation of unknown assets is possible natively in MAP and with full validation tools available connectivity and content validation is a simple integrated process ensuring client confidence in the delivered data.
END-USERS

We also cater for the smaller contractor at the domestic level, so all levels of survey are possible. A single survey or a complete network of any size can be accessed, visualised and analysed through WEB.
For example, Heathrow Airport is in the process of transferring its drainage network management to WinCan WEB.

Furthermore in the rail sector Network Rail High Speed is utilising WinCan WEB for the storage and access of 200 km plus drainage data running beneath the HS1 route formally known as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link running from St Pancras Station in London to the Eurotunnels terminal at Cheriton, near Folkestone Thomas Morgan of Network Rail High Speed said: “With the WinCan software suite Network Rail High Speed is confident that it now has the correct platform to record future maintenance activities and support and inform the future proactive drainage strategy for the route.
