hundreds of cultural contributions to the tourism attraction scene every year. In 2019, its Basilicata-based city of Matera will become the European Capital of Culture, bringing together both locals and international visitors for a calendar of events designed to boost the destination’s best bits. But it’s not just Matera that has a host of highlights in its diary.
