range of ski and sled-ride options for all levels of experience, with many routes leading directly to the doors of the hotel itself. The concierge team is on hand to assist with arrangements and to book unique experiences such as dog sledding. They can also advise on the best routes for snowshoeing. Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spas has 63 rooms
and suites, as well as 27 luxury residential apartments. Guests can enjoy the culinary
offerings of three distinct restaurants: Le Rochegrise is an Alpine brasserie showcasing the variety of flavours and traditions found in the region between the Vaud Alps and Italy; while Le Grizzly is a chalet-style restaurant, open during the winter season, that serves traditional Swiss dishes such as wood-fired raclette and authentic fondue. The hotel is also home to gourmet restaurant Le Jardin des Alpes, rated 15/20 by the Gault & Millau restaurant guide. Helmed by head chef Davide Esercito, it focuses on seasonal produce and sustainability. The Spa by RoyAlp is the perfect space for guests
to relax and rejuvenate, with facilities including a sauna, hammam, whirlpool bath, swimming pool, ice fountain and fitness equipment. The Kid’s Club playrooms are open to all young guests aged between four and 12 — and there’s an outdoor playground in summer. Visitors to the region can enjoy amazing tasting
experiences in the cellars of local winemakers in the neighbouring village of Ollon, or perhaps pay a fascinating visit to the nearby salt mines.
