PAID CONTENT FOR MALLÍN ALTO

Mallín Alto PATAGONIA, ARGENTINA

Mallín Alto is a collection of lodges and glamping tents set in a unique place that embodies an authentic Patagonian experience. Travellers from all over the world come together here, for life- changing ski/snowboard/wintersports escapes. Mallín Alto’s around 14 miles south of the

city of Bariloche, and only 20 minutes from the international airport. The main country house is strategically located at an altitude of nearly 3,300 feet, between the Patagonian steppe and the beginning of the Andes, where mountains scale up to 7,875 feet and are home to impressive forests of native lengas and ñires trees. Mallín Alto has assembled a team of talented

professionals who have all lived in Patagonia for a number of years, and who know the region, its traditions and its heritage. They’re dedicated to sharing their knowledge and expertise, and providing guests with the kind of authentic experience that can’t be found anywhere else. Bariloche is located within the Nahuel Huapi

National Park and surrounded by stunning natural scenery. Its location within a protected

park means that it has unique attractions and opportunities. It’s worth setting aside a couple of days to explore the city, go on a fascinating heritage tour and indulge in the delicious local gastronomy. The glamping side’s made up of four geodesic

domes that can accommodate up to 15 people each. They include living and dining rooms, private bathrooms, indoor heating, hot showers and comfortable beds. They’re set within a beautiful and remote environment, offering spectacular views of the valleys and rivers. The apres-ski offerings are as appealing as the

winter sports themselves, with drinks, home- brewed beers and traditional Patagonian snacks to enjoy. There’s even a hot tub to kick back and relax in and soak away any aches after a full day of skiing. The food is top quality, with flexible menus

that can be tweaked according to guests’ requirements, including vegan and coeliac options. All packages include alcoholic and non- alcoholic drinks, with an open bar and coffee service all day long.

Don’t miss Soak your weary muscles in a hot tub with a beer in hand, taking in spectacular views of the slopes you spent the day zooming around
