Aman is to open a third property in Japan this year. Aman Kyoto will open in November, located in a hidden garden close to Kinkaku-ji Temple. The hotel will centre around a series of standalone pavilions housing 24 rooms, two two-bedroom villas, a restaurant and an Aman Spa. right) to jointly acquire the business, which was previously owned by Chinese firm Zhonghong Holdings Group and Kent. While the financials around the acquisition were not revealed, the deal sees Kent increase his stake in A&K to 15%, with the remaining 85% now belonging to Lefebvre d’Ovidio’s Heritage Group. Carrier invites top agents to supper and aims to improve trade support


Carrier is to host quarterly supper clubs for its top agents. The first supper club was held in January at the new Gridiron restaurant at Como Metropolitan in London. Head of sales Rick Milne said the supper clubs gave agents a chance to discuss


new ways of working with Carrier and to discuss ideas with each other. The operator has also pledged to be more flexible with its product range as it
