BRITISH AIRWAYS IS REALLY TAKING OFF AT GATWICK


At British Airways we’ve been busy enhancing the experience we offer customers travelling from Gatwick. As part of a wider £6.5 billion investment, our Boeing  fleet is transforming to ensure our guests travel in the utmost comfort. Our World Traveller Plus cabins are bigger than before, and are fitted with  new seats. The seat pitch remains at 38in, with an eight-inch recline, but there are now new foot and leg rests. Customers will also be able to enjoy maximum


comfort with new six-way headrests with adjustable ‘ears’, perfect for of all heights. And it doesn’t stop there, because we’ve also added stylish cocktail tables and in-arm tray tables.


The culinary offering in World Traveller Plus has also been enriched. A new menu has been introduced with the addition of a third main meal option and a vegetarian dish. On top of that, we will also offer a more substantial hot second meal later in the flight, all of which are served on China crockery. Launch menus will include braised British


beef with roasted new potatoes, onion soubise and bourguignon sauce and rigatoni pasta in a creamy garlic and herb sauce with leek, pumpkin and baby spinach (menu may vary by route and seasonality, subject to availability).
