out of Universal’s design studio, cheat sheets to help you get to grips with complicated ticket combos and Top 10 Ticket sheets for the most popular cities in the world. These are proving excellent sales tools and agents can download and attach them to email quotes, upload them to Facebook pages or print and hang them in the window.

Q. What are your current big product focuses? Annabel: Florida theme parks are the core of the business. There’s a reason to go back every year. We issue real, turnstile-ready park passes which saves your customers time and hassle at the gates. Our agent partners have their fingers on the pulse when it comes to the latest attractions and new experiences and we do our best to get them all on sale. This year we’ve loaded Premier League Football tickets, a Tupelo day trip to Elvis’s birthplace, an albatross encounter in New Zealand (not sure who asked for that one), super car racing in Las Vegas, entrance to Dolly Parton’s Dollywood, more ways to fly and land in the Grand Canyon, Majorca Pirates Adventure Dinner Show, and Magic Mike LIVE in Vegas! There are so many more but Travel Weekly has only given me 500 words.

Q. What are you doing to support your travel agent partners? Annabel: It’s our mission at DSD to make selling tickets easy and fun. We reinforce this by offering flexible trading terms, not charging amendment fees and, where we can, not charging cancellation fees. We love to host experience-led fams – because you only really know when you go. And we work hard to create new and imaginative incentives. This year we have given away five family holidays to Walt Disney World in Florida! And for September, our popular Book & Bank cash incentive, where every booking is rewarded with some extra flash money, has launched again!

Q. What song would you like to hear at this year’s after party? Annabel: Barbie Girl by Aqua.

Q. What will you be wearing for the 80s v 90s theme? Annabel: The clue is in the song.

Q. What advice would you give a travel agent attending the Northern Ball for the first time? Annabel: Go all out on the fancy dress, make sure you come and say hi to the DSD crew (there will be eight of us there), and take Friday off!
