MSC Cruises has extended its accessible-shore excursions programme to nine more ports. Six ports will be added this

winter. They are: Genoa, Messina, Civitavecchia (Rome), Valletta, Barcelona and Marseille. Naples, Palma de Mallorca

and Valencia will be added to the programme next summer. The additional ports mean that

from next year, passengers with a disability or limited mobility will have access to shore excursions in 20 destinations across the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

24 5 DECEMBER 2019 The excursions are step-free,

short in distance and operate at a slower place. The routes also offer access to accessible restrooms with wide doors. In Naples, passengers can take a

Valletta

sailings and will be confirmed on board depending on whether there are enough participants. Jean-Pierre Joubert, MSC

Cruises’ head of shore excursions, said: “We have always been sensitive to the needs of our guests, and constantly strive to offer the best possible service, meeting international accessibility standards.” msccruises.co.uk
