John Lewis and Kuoni share fashion tips and trip advice


Kuoni has extended its partnership with John Lewis to combine holiday fashion tips with advice on trending destinations. Te department store will host a


series of free Destination Dressing talks from January. Stylists will share packing tips, travel accessories, how to wear outfits in different ways and matching clothing to suit the climate. Te Kuoni team will highlight


what is new in some of the best- selling destinations and the latest travel offers available. Customers will also receive


advice on holiday skincare, luggage and technology such as photography and headphones. Te talks will take place monthly


in 30 John Lewis stores shops throughout the UK where Kuoni has a concession.

If Only will remain “distinctly separate” from its new sister brand, Elegant Resorts, aſter being acquired by Portman Travel Group, according to its chief executive. If Only was purchased by the


group last week for an undisclosed sum. Portman also owns business travel agencies Clarity and Ian Allan Travel. If Only chief executive Andy


Freeth said the deal would give the operator access to a wider portfolio of products and it would benefit from group air buying. Other members of the senior


team, including Gordon McCreadie, Tracy Docherty and David Irving, will remain with the company. Founders Brendan and Mary
