Te Government decided to renovate Dublin’s inner city during the 1980s and 1990s. Tis is known as urban regeneration. Dublin’s Docklands and the IFSC were redeveloped. More recent developments include the Convention Centre and the 3 Arena. Ballymun was redeveloped with modern housing, shopping centres, offices, community centres, schools and other public amenities being built.
