collaborated with Tessuti to create content to help the fashion brand target the long-tail of search and rank for non-brand terms. To increase its reach the agency ran a nationwide competition to fi nd Britain’s best offi ce dog. Underpinning this was the observation that the majority of offi ce dogs are owned by managing directors and CEOs. Remington Sweden recently created a Swedish
Facebook page and was looking for ways to promote it whilst also showcasing its Silk hair styling product line. To attract fans to its Facebook page, Remington invited
bloggers to create video tutorials using its products. Fans were then invited to vote for their favourite video. Using Shoutlet Social Canvas, Remington was able to design a completely customisable, branded Facebook app with six embedded blogger videos connected to a voting poll. The competition resulted in a 49 per cent increase in fan engagement. fi

The competition generated almost 6,500 votes via Facebook and over 1,200 via Twitter, and Red Rocket Media succeeded in increasing visibility among its target audience; 87 per cent of those who entered a dog into the competition were senior managers or company directors. fi

To support the content marketing strategy, Bloom recommended Butlin’s appointed resort champions to capture real-time events and activities that could be shared on social media. After one month managing Butlins’ new platforms, Bloom generated a 196 per cent increase in engagement and a 17 per cent growth in followers across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and Google+, equating to 20,000 new followers overall. fi
