Grimshaw will be talking about English sparkling wines with tastings and lots to learn about these delicious bubbles. This by no means exhausts the foodie adventures to be had this year’s festival, but we hope you enjoy whatever you decide to see.


Family Fun at the Festival


Thursday 20th October sees


MBE (Academy of Cheese), Sally Vincent (author, chef & farmer from Dittisham) and Marc Million (travel, food and wine writer). This should be a lively debate. The festival Merchandise team is very excited to be showcasing their new products for 2022 and have introduced some new and very exciting products to whet your appetite. You will find our stall situated in the first tent on the South Embankment.


There is such a thing as a free


lunch after all On the Monday after this year’s Dartmouth Food Festival we will be hosting a free community lunch in the Guildhall.


In an endeavour to reduce food waste, the festival we will be using all the surplus produce from our event to create this delicious lunch for the local community. Tickets will be available via local community groups but do watch out for social media alerts for information about spare places on the morning


of the 24th October.


the return of our dedicated Children’s day. Kindly organised by Café Alf Resco. We have invited school children from local primary schools to get involved with a series of hands on workshops in the Royal Avenue Gardens.


During the main festival, Coast and Country Cottages will be hosting a family area near the bandstand. There will be lots of family friendly activities including biscuit decorating and arts and crafts for children of all ages.
