2. AIRGATEWAY The one that helps TMCs connect to NDC content


Berlin-based AirGateway was founded in mid-2016 and has developed connections to NDC content for some 15 airlines so far.


The time is not so much about the start-up as the slow pace of development of IATA’s New Distribution Capability since it was announced by IATA in mid-2015. Recent milestones for the start-up include a deal to provide Fello Travel with access to NDC content. Plans for 2020 include increasing its agency customer base as well as expansion to new regions from the current five countries where it has agencies using the technology.
