DAVROC SAM COOKE
Davroc has appointed Sam Cooke as its new national sales manager. He will be managing the sales team and supporting its customer base. Cooke joins with experience from The Radiator Company and Triton Showers. Cooke said: “This new role is a perfect opportunity to work with an experienced and established sales team and investigate new ways to engage with our customers while continuing to give them an outstanding service.” Cooke is stepping into the role vacated by Chris Dodds, who has recently become director of commercial operations. Dodds commented: “We have focused on strengthening our management team over the past year and having Sam join the team will allow our business to continue the growth we have achieved over the past few years.”
BUSHBOARD GARY BANNISTER, LEE PALMER, ALAN BALL, SAMUEL GORF
Bushboard has used a specialist ex-military job seekers agency to recruit new staff. The company has taken on four new members of staff. Former RAF weapons engineer, Lee Palmer, has been appointed as a quality engineer for Bushboard. Alan Ball is now a technical manager and was an advanced Javelin [a guided shoulder-launched missile] system operator in the Army. Samuel Gorf was a weapons engineer in the Royal Navy, and has now joined Bushboard as maintenance engineer. Gary Bannister spent 16 years with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) and he is now the company’s lean practitioner. JS GEDDES AMY MITCHELL
Amy Mitchell has joined JS Geddes as a marketing executive and will be looking to grow the retailer’s presence online as well as help with events at its Kilmarnock and Symington showrooms. Mitchell
said: “I will be looking to grow our
online presence and following. I will also be very involved in all events within the business and doing showroom tours and demonstrations of appliances.” After graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University with a degree in international retail marketing, Mitchell was at Steven Brown Art in Ayrshire for 18 months doing a similar role, but with a focus on social media.
KELLER KITCHENS TIM SPANN
Tim Spann has been appointed as national sales manager for the UK at Keller Kitchens. He is tasked to help continue the growth in UK sales for the company and its dealers. Spann joins Keller from Teka UK, where he was the brand trading manager. With plenty of experience in the kitchen industry, Tim will lead the sales team to expand Keller Kitchens’ activities within the UK. Spann said: “I am eager to get going as part of the Keller team and start collaborating with new dealers and getting to know the team I’ll be leading. I am excited to see what’s to come.”
