MULTIWOOD JOHN CRAIG ADAM GARNER
Multiwood has expanded its team to include John Craig (left) as national sales manager and Adam Garner (right), who will be area sales manager for Yorkshire, the North-East and Scotland. Craig has more than 30 years’ experience in the KBB market. He said of his new role: “I am looking forward to adding my experience within the KBB market to an already outstanding team here at Multiwood.” Garner’s experience is hands-on and he has been in the KBB industry for over 13 years. He said that he is looking forward to capitalising on the great opportunities Multiwood is seeing in this region, which is already showing steady growth.

GEBERIT PAUL BERRY
Geberit has appointed Paul Berry as specifi cation sales manager for the Midlands. His responsibilities will revolve around building strong relationships in the architects and developers market, as well as helping clients with design

planning, specifi cations,
logistics and technical support. Berry joins Geberit with more than 15 years’ experience in the sanitaryware industry. Most recently he worked as contract sales manager for Graham plumbers merchants. He has also previously been a branch manager for both Graham and Bathstore. In addition to his other responsibilities, Berry will deliver dedicated CPD presentations on Geberit’s core competencies, including technical and specifi cation support.
Big brand appliance distributor Swift Electrical has appointed Amber Sheppard as area sales manager for south Wales and the south-west of England. Sheppard will focus on building relationships with new and existing retail customers within the kitchen, electrical and merchant sectors. Sheppard brings extensive experience through her previous positions in business- to-business distribution, showroom-based retail and telesales and commented that she was “thrilled” to be joining Swift. Chris Honer, managing director of Swift, said: ”Amber’s experience and passion make her the ideal person to support our new and existing customers in such a key area for us. We are delighted to welcome her to the team.”
IDS KATIE WALKER ANDY BLANK
The IDS marketing team has expanded with the addition of two new recruits. Katie Walker has joined as a marketing executive and Andy Blank as a web developer. The marketing team is now six people strong. Walker has signifi cant experience in product launches, stand design and developing content for trade shows and exhibitions. Blank has 23 years’ experience as a web developer. Working closely with IDS’s digital marketing coordinator, he will use his knowledge and skills to enable the business to secure a greater online presence. He will also be responsible for continually improving the 14 websites managed by IDS.

ELECTROLUX CHRIS IBBITSON
Electrolux has appointed Chris Ibbitson as its new channel manager for contracts. Ibbitson worked as head of national sales at Travis Perkins for nine years. In his new role, Ibbitson will focus on developing the company’s contract channel strategy across house builders, projects and distribution, as well as supporting the growth of Zanussi, Electrolux and AEG brands. Gordon Dawson, UK head of kitchen retail and contracts for Electrolux, said: “We’re delighted to have Chris on board. He’ll be a great asset to the business as we build on the signifi cant momentum we have gained during the fi rst half of 2019 and continue to focus heavily on the house-builder market.”

JAMES HARRIS GRAHAM CARSE
BA Components has gained two new members of staff – James Harris (left) as the new chief operating offi cer and Graham Carse as product manager. Harris has 25 years of global supply chain experience, across several manufacturing environments. He has previously been COO for Berghaus then worked as a consultant with private equity-backed businesses. He has experience in product management, sourcing, logistics and demand management for his new role at BA. Carse has worked in the KBB industry for more than 30 years and has previously been employed at Benchmarx, Magnet, Spring Ram, MFI and Homebase.
