The 2026 Big Bang Competition
Following on from the overwhelming success of IHEEM’s involvement in The Big Bang Competition earlier in the year, the Institute is delighted to announce its sponsorship of the IHEEM Special Award for Innovation in Wellbeing and Healthcare Engineering for the second year running. With the competition now open for the academic year 2025-26, students will be invited to submit entries which propose an engineering-led solution to any wellbeing or healthcare challenge.

Institute Annual General Meeting 2025
The 2025 IHEEM AGM will take place at 13.10 on Tuesday 21 October 2025 in rooms 5 and 6 at Manchester Central, forming part of the Healthcare Estates conference and exhibition programme. All are invited to attend to hear IHEEM CEO, Pete Sellars and President, Nigel Keery, report across aspects of the Institute’s operations, including achievements, Annual Report, and Financial Statements from 2024, and the future of the Institute.
