“As Switzerland has a strong land-based history, classic casino titles are very popular. However, as the market matures, players are becoming more inclined to try innovative titles with more advanced mechanics and features. It is a case of educating the local audience about products and gradually introducing new content.” Claudia Melcaru

Tamas: Like any market with a strong land- based heritage, classic style slots are prominent. It’s the same across the border in Germany. But in recent times, more innovative titles with different game play and features have started to develop their own niche too.

Claudia: As Switzerland has a strong land- based history, classic casino titles are very popular. However, as the market matures, players are becoming more inclined to try innovative titles with more advanced mechanics and features.

It is a case of educating the local audience about products and gradually introducing new content. As with most markets, it’s crucial to have a good mix of content as well as attractive bonuses and jackpots to entice players.

Michael: Greentube has found most success with our localised games portfolio in Switzerland, particularly games with land- based heritage such as Super Cherry. We have also seen great success with our linked jackpot games, notably Diamond Link and Cash Connection are doing exceptionally well, and we know that if we are to maintain this level of success we must continue to invest in these games.

Andrzej: Ultimately, casino games are designed to be entertaining, engaging players with understandable mechanics and themes, but ultimately providing them with a fun pastime. We noticed that the most successful slots offer engagement-boosting features that are easy to understand and provide players with big wins, increasing both enjoyment and player retention.

We’ve got our own range of titles offering features that boost player engagement, including our Hold the Jackpot, Collect to Infinity, Cash Infinity, and Sticky to Infinity products, and all of these have proven extremely popular.

However, there’s no one-size-fits-all for casino games, as all players – from recreational bettors to high-rollers – have a real spread of different tastes and needs. We believe that customisation is the secret formula to keeping

players engaged and retained.

It makes players satisfied, loyal, and coming back for more, and we’re proud that our customisation suite sits at the very forefront of what the industry offers. For example, thanks to our Volatility Levels and other customisable features, players can adjust the game to their own preferences and operators can appeal to a wider audience.

Can you give us an update on your operations in Switzerland and how you service the market?

Andrzej: We entered the Swiss market in 2020 and since then have gone from strength to strength, with 55 games now certified for the market, including our incredibly popular, engagement-boosting titles such as 9 Coins and Magic Spins.

We’ve gone live with a number of major casino brands across the country, including Swiss Casinos, Casino Lugano, 7 Melons, and Jackpots.ch. It’s very exciting to be bringing our games to major parties throughout the territory, and we are proud of the products we offer.

From retro slots and the all-time player- favourite Hold the Jackpot series, right through to new games with a plethora of record- breaking features such as Collect to Infinity, Cash Infinity, and Sticky to Infinity, we’re able to produce content loved by a variety of players.

In addition, thanks to our fully customisable tools, we’re confident we’ve got what it takes to keep Swiss players engaged and our partners’ metrics skyrocketing.

Michael: Truthfully, not too much has changed in the last twelve months. Greentube supplies both platform operational toolsets and games to Casino Interlaken, which is essentially the full package, we are very happy with the way this relationship is growing.

On the B2B side, again not too much has changed, but we are integrating new brands every time an operator enters the Swiss market. We want to ensure we have 100 per cent coverage with all legal brands in Switzerland
