DraftKings and the PGA Tour have broken ground on the first ever sportsbook and dining experience on a golf course with the DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale, Arizona, expected to open in Autumn 2023.


Te DraftKings Sportsbook will be located at on the Southeast corner of Greenway-Hayden and Bell Road, directly across from the Stadium Course Clubhouse. Tis lot has served as the main entrance for the WM Phoenix Open. Te entrance will be re-routed slightly to the south starting with the 2023 event.


Te sportsbook is expected to consist of approximately 390 seats throughout its interior and exterior spaces; however, the sportsbook will also be able to accommodate additional standing room for guests.


Te sportsbook is expected to be open daily, with plans to stay open into the evening so that customers may enjoy all major sporting events, subject to city ordinances.

SIS has become New Jersey’s first-ever non-tournament esports provider after signing a deal to supply its esports Competitive Gaming products to long-term operator partner, bet365.

Bally’s Corporation garnered a major victory after Chicago’s City Council voted to approve the construction of Bally’s Chicago Casino – a $1.7bn entertainment destination.


Te first phase of this project will include the one million square foot casino building, 500-room hotel, 3,000-person event space, dozens of infrastructure improvements in the surrounding area, and a significant amount of public open space.


Chicago Aldermen approved the ordinance, making way for 3,000 construction jobs, 3,000 permanent jobs, and millions of dollars in tax revenue annually.

ONTARIO - Greentube, the NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, has taken its content live in the regulated market of Ontario for the first time with Entain Gaming Group.


The agreement, which follows on from Greentube gaining its supplier licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) earlier this year, will see a series of top-performing games go live with operator brands including BetMGM, PartyCasino and Bwin in the Canadian province.

ARIZONA - Arizonans bet nearly $540m on sports during the month of September, according to a new report by the Arizona Department of Gaming.


This amount represents an 84.7 per cent increase when compared to September of 2021. The state saw approximately $538m in bets during the month of September, resulting in over $3m in privilege fees collected.


ONTARIO - The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario is requiring all registered casino, lottery and igaming operators that offer sport and event betting products in Ontario to stop offering wagers on Ultimate Fighting Championship events due to concerns about non-compliance with betting integrity requirements.


“The Standards exist to protect the betting public and to provide the necessary safeguards against odds manipulation, match-fixing and other integrity issues,” commented AGCO.


“This is not a decision we take lightly, knowing the popularity of UFC events in Ontario’s sportsbooks. The risks of insider betting on event and wagering integrity should be highly concerning to all.”


MICHIGAN – EveryMatrix has received conditional approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board, enabling the iGaming platform provider to distribute content in the state via CasinoEngine, its casino integration and productivity platform.


EveryMatrix has already obtained licensing in West Virginia and New Jersey, with more jurisdictions in the pipeline.
