California - JCM Global installs at Rolling Hills The casino floor at Rolling Hills Casino & Resort is more engaging now that JCM Global has installed its third Digital Signage Solution (DSS). This latest digital display is located inside the Center Bar and stretches more than 10 feet wide and nearly six feet tall .
The JCM DSS installation features a wall-mounted 1.2mm VB DIAMOND digital sign measuring 10.5 ft. x 5.91 ft. Displaying over 281 trillion colours, the VB DIAMOND in the Center Bar will broadcast live sporting events and programming. The VB DIAMOND delivers a high contrast ratio for rich, detailed content in 4k and 8k resolution, and its anti-stress, durable design means a longer lifetime for casino and hospitality venues. “Working with JCM on multiple projects has allowed us to continually bring in the latest technology”, said General Manager Steve Neely. “Our partnership allows us to continually improve the guest experience by providing the best venue to view sporting events in our region.”
Pennsylvania - Parx delays Shippensburg Parx Casino Shippensburg has confirmed it will be opening its gaming floor to the public in February 2023. Work began on the Category 4 casino in February, with an initial opening date of November 2022 but supply chain disruption has pushed the opening back. The 73,000sq.ft casino will include 500 slot machines and 48 electronic table positions along with a 100-seat restaurant and sports bar.

Pennsylvania - Parx delays Shippensburg Greentube has entered into a joint venture with emerging studio Flamingocatz, in a partnership that will see new and exciting content created for North American markets. Greentube has acquired a 40 per cent stake in Flamingocatz, a games developer established in 2022 to bring disruptive slot titles to the Americas, through innovative mathematics, unique design and a clear mission to entertain. A number of titles are already in development and are set to be introduced in 2023, initially in North America, but later also to other markets where Greentube is active.
Through the partnership, Greentube will significantly improve its value proposition in the US and Canada, where the company has invested heavily in the last year to introduce localised and relevant content to become a leading supplier to the iGaming industry.

Hard Rock executives now need to detail their plans to the Nevada Gaming Commission before the deal can be greenlit.
Hard Rock CEO Jim Allen has vowed to ‘completely rebuild every inch of the public areas’ as it overhauls the Mirage casino into a guitar-shaped hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.
Te slot intake at the new casino - which will eventually be rebranded as the Hard Rock - shall increase from 800 to 2,000 slots with table games increasing from about 50 to 160. Hard Rock will also add around 600 hotel rooms taking the total from 3,000 to 3,600 rooms.
Speaking before the Nevada Gaming Control Board as the deal nears approval, Mr Allen said: “We like to do things big. It is our intention, subject to approval, to build an all-suites guitar- shaped building, very similar to what we did in South Florida. We think this becomes another icon for the Las Vegas Strip skyline.”

Te new Lightning Link Lounge at Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee is the first to open in Florida, dedicated exclusively to Dragon Link and Lightning Link with 50 games for players to choose from.

With regards to reports that Mirage would close, Hard Rock stated: “Tere are no current plans to cease operation of Te Mirage and any reporting to the contrary is inaccurate. Te Nevada Gaming Control Board unanimously recommended to the Nevada Gaming Commission that it approve Hard Rock International’s licensure and acquisition of Te Mirage Hotel & Casino.
“Tis marks another milestone in a year’s long process as Hard Rock International seeks all appropriate regulatory approvals in the closing of this historic transaction.
“More news on our development plans are expected to be released in late 2023.”
Louisiana Queen Casino installs Konami’s SYNKROS System
Te Queen Casino & Entertainment has announced the expansion of SYNKROS to a third property in its multi-site portfolio, installing Konami Gaming’s SYNKROS casino management system at the historic Belle of Baton Rouge.
Joining sister properties DraftKings at Casino Queen and Casino Queen Marquette in launching the system, Belle of Baton Rouge recently received approval from the Louisiana Gaming Control Board for a $35m expansion project which will move the gambling floor ashore and include a sportsbook, sports bar, café, oyster bar, cruise line dock access and hotel renovation.
